Idaho Fusion Dance Teams
Welcome to the wonderful world of performance and competitive dance! Our teams were created for those students who would like to participate in a more intensive program. Being a member of the team, while it is a great and fun experience, carries with it a lot of commitment and responsibility. Students are required to take classes in jazz, hip-hop,
hip-hop technique, ballet, and jazz technique.
We have 4 unique teams. ALL 4 teams perform at several special functions above & beyond the community performances listed inside, such as various high school & college basketball games, 'Rockin' On the River,' Lewiston Center Mall events, Oktoberfest, Alive After Five, both Nez Perce & Asotin County parades, and others.
Petite Team is for students approximately 8 - 10 years old and prepares students for the commitment and discipline needed to compete. Intermediate Team is for students ages 10 & up and Junior Team is for students approximately 11-14 years old. Senior Team is for students in high school. All final team placements are based on skill levels, as determined by team coaches and instructors. The Junior and Senior Teams participate in Regional & State-wide Competitions.
Dancers who have been on the Senior Team for at least 3 years, may with Coaches' permission, and additional special choreography lessons, perform solos and duos at Competitions.
Recently, several of our Senior Dance Team members have had special
choreography lessons for Junior Miss Pagents, and have won Junior
Miss or Runner-Up.
